The terms of making it worse.

You pay the exact current whole-dollar price in USD. There are no arbitrary amounts, cents, alternate currencies, skipped levels, or purchases of multiple future increases.

Only a successfully finalized purchase consumes that price level. It creates one permanent receipt and raises the next price by exactly $1.

Checkout completion, a bank authorization, or a browser redirect does not by itself prove a completed purchase. The backend verifies provider state, claims the still-current price, captures only the winner, and finalizes the receipt in the authoritative database.

If another verified authorization wins first, the losing authorization is canceled and is not automatically retried at the higher price. An issuer may temporarily continue to show an authorization hold while it clears.

Your submitted display name or alias and message are intended for public display with the receipt number, amount, next price, timestamp, and any threshold stamp. The receipt identity, receipt number, consumed price, and ladder history are permanent.

Submit only content you are willing to publish. Public name and message presentation may be corrected, redacted, restored, or hidden without deleting the underlying receipt or changing its permanent ladder facts.

A purchase does not provide a prize, raffle entry, investment return, equity, ownership interest, or claim on future revenue. You are paying to create the permanent receipt and move the public button exactly one dollar.

A later refund, dispute, chargeback, or chargeback outcome does not rewind the public ladder. It does not reopen a consumed price, reuse or renumber a receipt, delete permanent history, or reduce the current price.

Payment and accounting status can change separately from the historical fact that a payment was captured and a receipt was finalized.
